Gartner Group and InformationWeek iEC Solutions award for the best intranet application.

Awarded to NetDynamics at the Internet and Electronic Conference in August sponsored by Gartner Group and Information Week. The intranet application honored was done by New England Biolabs, Inc. (NEB) who selected NetDynamics, Sun Microsystems and Sybase as their technology providers for an interactive customer response system. This system allows customers to participate in an on-line dialogue with the NEB technical support team. Up-to-the-minute information and immediate responses to questions about NEBs 300 products provide customers with the information needed to make more informed decisions.

PC Magazine Editors' Choice Award for the best Web Database Tool

In their September 1996 issue, PC Magazine took on a huge challenge with their cover story "Build Your Own Website". In this article the technical staff of PC Magazine performed in depth reviews of over 35 products in the categories of web authoring, web servers, and web database tools. NetDynamics was reviewed as one of 8 web database application development tools and received the highly acclaimed PC Magazine Editors Choice Award with the technical reviewers calling it "one of the most flexible and powerful solutions for serious Web development".

NetworkWorld and IntraNet Magazine 1996 Intranet Excellence Award

Presented at the NetWorld+Interop 96 conference in Atlanta, NetDynamics was one of 10 winners in the industrys first official awards program to honor companies for innovative products that help make Intranet solutions a reality today. NetDynamics was chosen from a field of several hundred submissions as the winner in the Intranet Development and Authoring Tools class. The independent judging panel was composed of leading consulting and analyst firms including: Ernst & Young, Zona Research, International Data Corporation, First Albany Corporation, Dataquest, Accell Partners, Hambrecht & Quist, Patricia Seybold Group, Tolly Group and Mier Communications.

Sybase 1996 Open Solutions Partner Success Award

Awarded to NetDynamics and Harvard Medical School for our combined effort in bringing a creative solution to the web utilizing Sybase as the database. The application is designed to facilitate better communication access among some 14,000 faculty, staff, and students in the greater Boston area. Information such as student records, campus activities and events can be obtained over the web by clinical faculty or students based off-campus at the various teaching hospitals not directly connected to the University.

Computerworld Internet Commerce Expo - NetDynamics Wins 2 "Best In Class"

The Internet Commerce Expo, sponsored by Computerworld, included a special program called the Internet Open to highlight web solutions to real business problems. The Internet Open featured on-line demonstrations of business solutions in various vertical market and industry sectors, IT and MIS technology sets, and business and departmental categories. At the end of the show, judges and show attendees selected "Best of Class" winners from a variety of solution categories.

In the "Internetworking" category, NetDynamics and Gradient Technologies captured "Best of Class" award with an online human resources application running against a PeopleSoft database. This application highlighted Gradient's secure, end-to-end Intranet infrastructure on the Web with the benefits of NetDynamics rapid application development environment and application publishing server.

In the "Finance and Administration" category, NetDynamics and Deloitte & Touche captured a "Best in Class" award for a Web-based sales force automation application. This application integrates supplier and channel partners into a common Intranet-driven business system.
